Why we built Repd
NIL changed college sports forever. For the first time, student athletes could profit from their name, image, and likeness. It was supposed to be a win for everyone.
But representation still went to the same people it always did.
The five-star quarterback got the Nike deal. The top recruit got the check. And the other 85 players on that roster — the ones who made that quarterback's career possible — were left out of a market they legally belong to.
On the other side of that gap sat local businesses with the same problem. The barbershop owner. The family restaurant. The regional clothing brand. They wanted in on college sports culture. They wanted an authentic local face, someone their community already knew and trusted. But the NIL world wasn't built for them either.
Repd closes that gap.
Athletes build a profile that represents who they are. Businesses build a profile that shows what they offer. Both sides connect directly — no agents, no commission, no gatekeepers.
This is NIL the way it was supposed to work.
To give every student athlete — regardless of their star rating, their sport, or their school — a fair shot at the opportunities NIL was always supposed to create.
